Hello There!
My name is Cian, I am currently a master level craftsmanship costumer based in Southern California. As a cosplayer, I have been awarded for my Craftsmanship & performances over the past 6 years of competing.
Working freelance, I have done work for clients making custom costumes, pillow manufacturing & alterations.
Besides sewing costumes, I am a sewing educator and teach class at my local sewing shop, Between Stitches. For my classes, I specialize in garment & costume construction. Not able to make it in? Check out my Instagram, where I post tutorials on most of my costumes!
Recently, I have joined the Janome Maker Program & cannot wait to continue educating the cosplay community using their wonderful machines!
Sewing or not, you can find me with a cup of coffee, my 3 cats and videogame OST humming in the background.
My Story
I began my sewing journey as a child, having been taught by my grandmother. I dreamt of growing up to become a fashion designer & owning my own boutique. But going through my teens, I stopped sewing. And it wasn't until I began cosplaying that I retook up an interest in sewing.
Now, 13 years later, I'm still cosplaying, sewing & creating! With the skills I've learned, my schooling & education, I look forward to continuing my path in Sewing education. I have been given so many wonderful opportunities in this community over the past few years and cannot wait to give back as much as I can.
